This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). When you visit it, GitHub may process technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver and secure the site. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking on this website.
WhatsApp language assistant
If you message our WhatsApp assistant, we process:
- your WhatsApp phone number and the identifiers provided by Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform;
- the text messages you send and the replies we generate;
- technical delivery information (for example sent, delivered, read status).
Purpose: to answer your requests (translation, writing, sentence checking, replies) and to keep the conversation context. Message text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate replies. Messages are transmitted via Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Legal basis: performance of the service you request and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, for users in the European Union, Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: conversation data is kept only as long as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing iletisim@ahmetcancan.com.
Your rights
Under KVKK (Art. 11) and the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or a data protection supervisory authority in your EU country.
